The Strapless Ruched Drop Waist Maxi Dress holds close through a strapless, fully ruched bodice that gathers from the neckline down to a low, dropped waist. From there the skirt is released in soft gathers and falls to the floor in a long, fluid A-line that swings with every step.
Made from a soft knit of 94% polyester and 6% elastane, it has just enough stretch for the bodice to stay in place without straps, and closes with a concealed zip. Unlined and opaque, slim through the top and full through the skirt.
Available in Baby Blue, Butter Yellow, Navy Blue, Mocha Brown and White, in sizes XXS to XL.
Care & Maintenance
Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle with similar colours, turned inside out with the zip closed, or have it professionally dry cleaned. Do not bleach and do not tumble dry; hang to dry away from direct sunlight so the ruching and the elastane keep their shape. Cool iron on the reverse of the skirt only if needed, keeping clear of the gathered bodice.
Size & Fit
Fitted through the strapless ruched bodice down to the dropped waist, then full and flowing from the hip to the floor. The knit has a little stretch, so the bust is what decides the size: XXS fits UK 4, XS fits UK 6, S fits UK 8, M fits UK 10, L fits UK 12-14 and XL fits UK 16. It is cut long, around 121cm to 125cm from the top edge to the hem, so it sweeps the floor on shorter frames. If you are between sizes, take the smaller one for a secure fit without straps.
