The Double-Breasted Belted Longline Coat is the one you reach for from the first cold morning. Wide notch lapels, six horn-effect buttons and a self-tie belt shape it at the waist, then it falls long and clean to the calf.

Cut in a soft brushed fabric with a lightweight feel and a smooth lining, it layers easily over a fine knit. Two side pockets keep your hands warm, and the belt threads through side loops so you can tie it at the front, knot it behind or leave it loose.

Available in Black, Mocha Brown, Camel, Taupe and Red, sizes S to XXL.

Size and fit

Regular fit through the shoulders and body, with room to layer a fine knit underneath, then shaped at the waist by the tie belt and cut long to fall to the lower calf on most. The fabric has no stretch, so the bust decides the size: S fits UK 8-10, M fits UK 10-12, L fits UK 12-14, XL fits UK 14-16 and XXL fits UK 16-18. Take your usual size for the shape shown, or size up if you plan to wear it over a chunky jumper.

Care

Check the sewn-in care label before cleaning. Dry cleaning is the safest choice for a lined coat, as it keeps the lining and the brushed surface smooth. Between wears, brush off lint gently and hang it on a shaped hanger so the shoulders hold their line. Do not tumble dry. If it needs freshening, steam from a distance or press with a cool iron through a cloth.

Knitted from a soft stretch polyester blend with a touch of wool, so it moves with you and keeps a little warmth under a coat. Unlined, pull on, no closure.

Woven in a smooth polyester blend with a fine twill texture, it holds its line all day and closes with a concealed zip at the back. Wear it with a fine knit and knee boots now, then add tights once the temperature drops.

Available in Grey Tartan and Burgundy Tartan, sizes S to XL.

Sits at the waist and is cut close through the hip to a short mini length, with a front split for ease of movement and a concealed zip at the back. The woven fabric has no real stretch, so the waist and hip decide the size: S fits UK 8, M fits UK 10, L fits UK 12-14 and XL fits UK 16. Care

The Buckle Strap Knee High Boots ground the look with a pointed toe, a softly slouched shaft and two buckled straps, one across the ankle and one at the top.

Faux leather upper with a cloth lining, a rubber sole and a stacked block heel of 3 to 5cm you can wear all day. They pull on, with no zip to catch.

Available in Black and Mocha Brown, in EU 36 to 41, which is UK 4 to UK 7.

Size and fit

This style runs small in EU sizes, so each button shows the UK size it actually fits. Not sure? Measure your foot and Find my size will match you. Heel height is 3 to 5cm. The shaft pulls on without a zip and the supplier gives no calf width, so a fuller calf may find it close. If you are between sizes, take the larger one to leave room for thicker socks.

Wipe the faux leather with a soft damp cloth and let it dry naturally, away from radiators. Do not machine wash. Stuff the shafts with paper or use boot shapers so the slouch keeps its line. Store upright, away from damp and direct sunlight.
